    Hello and welcome to 3reef!
Glad you decided to join this wonderful marine and freshwater site!
Best of luck to you and may you enjoy many years of enjoyment from your tank and its inhabitants as well as here at 3reef!

Just one thing regarding the lighting you are currently using, the corals that you have do not need intense light, so what you have is fine for now. Also, many corals will survive and thrive in a tank that is less than optimal in terms of lighting. Normally, the color of the coral and its polyps will be not as colorful or even a different color all together than if the same coral were housed under intense lighting.
I would either update your lighting or really heed the advice provided by the professionals in the field as to the husbandry requirements of each coral and clam to give you a better understanding and if your light is suitable for the coral in question.
    Best of luck!

Stop it with the 'I'm a girl' thing. I'm a girl too, and quite a bit younger than you! (I'm still in my 40's --- LOL!) I started a 75 gallon tank in April this year, absolutely no experience other than reading up for the last 4 years. I finally took the plunge. Welcome aboard! Uva....... You can check out my tank here: http://www.3reef.com/forums/new-hobby/newest-photos-questions-48763.html#post446787
