welcome to 3reef, the type of lighting we suggest will depend on the type of corals you want, but generally i would suggest t5 fixture of atleast 120 watts.
for filtration a hob skimmer octopus hob

Oh, this could be a really long post. I will try to make it short and truncated.

LR: 30lbs for a FO, 50lbs for a Reef (corals)
    LS: About 30lbs
Skimmer: AquaC Remora Pro or an Octopus BH-100F
Lighting: T5. Now a tank 30 inches across is a little harder to outfit. The 30" fixtures only have bulbs that are 24" long. You could go 36" fixtures, but there would obviously be overhang. There are 24" fixtures that you could hang over the tank (suspend from ceiling). Here is a like to one of those.

Flow: I would aim for 50x turnover. (29)(50)=1450GPH. Koralias have nice little powerheads. I think mine are killa (notice my use of the word killer using modern inner city vernacular. Makes me sound cool8)). Three Koralia-1s will add to the 300 to 400GPH a good skimmer will add to the mix and give you that number.

Heater: One that is not glass. Broken heaters kill. I would also get one with a controller.

So that's a start from my humble point of view. Have fun!!!! You will be addicted to this in no time flat. It is fun beyond belief.

Welcome to the club. I too am a new member.

I did learn one thing very quickly. When I was just starting out I asked a guy at a pet store about a skimmer and he said that SeaClone was good. Well, not so good. Sure, cheap, but this hobby isn't cheap. Don't go cheap on things that matter. So I'd say stay away from those.

I am wanting a reef setup... So far i've got close to 40 pounds of sand, 8-10 pounds of live rock... I've got 2 Maroon Clowns and a Cardinal right now to help along with the nytrogen cycle... as well as 2 snails and 2 crabs.... I know I would eventually like to get a long tenicle anemone, as well as a few others.... I'm just not sure which ones will "get along". and i am open to any suggestions. I am exicted about getting into this hobby and am more than willing to do whatever it takes to make a GREAT environment for fish and corals alike.. And thank you all for your replies
