    Thanks all,
As you have requested........ Here are a couple of pictures. Just remember that I am the DIY Man... LOL, no seriously, I love to tinker with things. On another note, I am currently battling a case of Dinoflag's. Sorry about the quality of the tank and pics. I'm a bit embarassed. This tank has been up for about five months

Looks great, sure looks like you have the upper hand on the dino ( nightmare).

It looks like a shallow tank?

    Thanks Corailline,
Through reading 3reef and the advise of my lfs I'm getting it under control. I've raised the ph of my tank to 8.4 and stopped all water changes. Along with this I blow off the sand and live rock every day along with cleaning/changing my filters at the beginning of my light cycle. To top this off, I have done a 24 hour dark period and am increasing my cycle slowly.

My tank is a 20 gallon long tank with a 5 gallon DIY sump so I have a total of 20 gallon water volume. One thing that I'm concerned with in the intensity of my lights. I am using a wave point 24" 4 bulb T5 system. Originally the fixture had 2 super blue 460 actinic and 2 Sun wave 12,000k bulbs. At the start of my fight with the Dino's I replaced one of the Sun waves with a Coral Wave bulb.

Thanks for your interest. I've read many of your posts in the past few weeks, and am blown away by your knowledge.

That is pretty much exactly the way I treated my dino. Water changes just feed it IMO ( could be very wrong). Totally black out for me was 4 days and then a slow increase back to schedule. I brought up both the mag and pH. It was so frustrating it almost made me take a break from the hobby.

Thank you for the kind words.:)

    Thanks Sadie,
I'm really interested in chalice and frogspawn varients. My live rock came with a couple of Mushrooms and a small patch of zoa's. One of my concerns with the frogspawn is how long the feeding tenticles reach. In a tank as small as mine, should I be concerned about FS stinging other corals.
