    Hi All

I would appreciate any help here. I have a 29gal. biocube which has been functionally very well for 2 years. It's mainly a reef tank with some some soft and hard corals and 2 clowns, 1 hippo tang, 1 pajama cardinal and tank cleaners. Lots of rock and I removed my bioballs about a year ago. All is well. I do not like my usless cartridge filter that came with the tank so bought chemipure by the advice of research. My question is if anyone out there would suggest where in configuration of this tank should I put it. Three compartments are at the back. First left holds the pump. The middle compartment had the bioballs but is empty now and the third compartment on back right had the filter cartridge. If anyone has any suggstions or knows the configuration of this oceanic biocube and can help, I would really appreciate it. Any advise given would be helpful. I do not have a protein skimmer and have never had reason for it. My water parameters have been very good other than 5-10 nitrates occasionally. All is well in my tank. Thanks for any help given and your thoughts on what I did and chemipure compared to my previous cartridge filter which clogs and has to be changed more times than I wish too. They are expensive!

Tanks for joining our community! You have a lot in your tank for its size. Great that you aren't having problems but your tang will out grow that size of a tank! I unfortunately don't know enough about biocubes but I am sure you will get an answer from someone here!

Thanks for the welcome. My tang is growing and I know that one day he will have to leave his humble abode! But he's so happy. Also, I have these "things" that look like small shelless snails...but hard bodies...very tiny, attached to the walls of my back chambers. Any idea what they are? ps...your tank sounds awesome. If we had more room, I would definately have a larger tank. Thanks for your input.
