    Hello everyone,

    I started keeping fish in the early '80s, and lost 3 tanks in the '89 Loma Prieta quake. I have only kept fresh water since but want to start a reef. My current tanks are 10 gal planted and 29 gal goldfish. I enjoy DIY projects. And am starting to try things out on my current tanks in preparation for a reef.

    Welcome! Sorry about your tanks from the past. Earthquakes have been on my mind lately and I'm currently trying to make my tank earthquake safe.

    Looking forward to seeing you DIY a bunch of stuff for your upcoming reef!
