I am new to the site but have had a reef tank for about one and a half years i think don't really remember but from looking at my bank records it started somewhere around there "man i used to have money saved up". I am currently in the process of starting a new 10 gallon tank.

I wanted to join to ask a few questions on setting up a new 10 gallon tank. A little background on how i got started one of my friends worked at a LFS and gave and set up my first reef tank it was a 30 gallon bow front. Had that up and running for all of 3 or 4 months then another friend i knew gave me a 75 gallon and that has been my main tank since. both tanks were set up by other people so now i want to fly solo "hope i don't crash and burn or is it drown?"

    Welcome to 3reef.

If you've already upgraded to a 75g, why would you set up a 10g?
A disk top at work maybe?

There is a lot of great advice for setting up new tanks right here on this site.

    Welcome to 3reef!
Nano tanks are so much fun I have two
I can't wait to upgrade toa bigger tank once I'm finished with the move

The biggest thing about nano tanks is the constant parameter changes and over stocking
Having two nano tanks one for 2 years and one for 1 year they aren't as hard as people think and they were my first reef tanks ever

Do you have any ideas for fish? :)
