    3 cleaner snails
    10 lb live rock

I have my clownfish pair is currently in my 10 gal QT. The day after I got my clownfish, I saw that one of my clownfish had white specks on it. Its very hard to tell what disease it has.

Very pretty fish...I agree that you do know allot about SW fish...

Looks like you are off to a great start.

Wish I had started doing this when I was your age (gosh, just imagine what reef would look like now!)...but just was not practical at the time (Reef keeping)...Don't ever recall being without a fish tank of some kind or other...

    Keep us posted.

    Good luck.

If you mean parasites, then yes. I know of velvet, white spot disease, and clownfish disease. The others are either fungus or bacterial diseases.

Clown fish are pretty hardy, and for the looks of your tank it might be do to stress, marine fish aren't game to artificial decorations, try doing a partial water change and check the parameters like ph, nitrites and ammonia. it appears to have a start of fin rot by the pics you posted, but like the other reefers mention above you need to know what your parameters are. Oh and welcome to 3Reef!

    Best of luck!!!!

If the white specks are all over, it might be ick?
