    Hi we are new to the fish hobby. My wife and I wanted to join a forum to share our experience and to learn from others experience. We have a 55gal tank with a wet/dry filter and a 10gal sump, protein skimmer, T5 lighting, 50lbs live rock, 40lbs live crushed coral

    Welcome to 3reef! :wave: wet/dry you say? got bio balls or bale? if you do ditch it and get carbon & some sort of filter, I use quilt batting(it's cheaper than the stuff out there and the same stuff)
