    My tank and I.

Hi everybody, all this is new to me so heregoes.
I live in London and i am only one year into reef tanks but catching on fast. My tank is 100ltr, and natural with only 18kg live rock and a 30ltr refugium with cualupa on a deep sand bed of which the top 3cm is miricle mud. Iv'e just made my own LED light hood, and I am amazed how fantastic it looks. All on a shoe string. I have three good 1000ltr hr pump's and the refugium returns via an overflow. The inmates are just 3 fish, 3 shrimp and 4 crabs[cleanup crew] and all doing well. I'm looking forward's to learning a lot from your "blog's". REGARDS.

That's a good looking tank! I like the 55 and 75 gallon long tanks. You can do a lot with them.

    Hello Everyone,

My latest visits to the local fish store has rekindled my passion for another tank. I have had several fresh water tanks over the years and slowly learning more and more about reef tanks. All the while living nomadic life style that has kept me from building a tank. I am excited on how technology, technique and understanding about Reef Tanks have grown over the last 20 years. Now I am ready build my first reef tank.

I would like to start with 75g shallow tank. But I see the 29g Oceanic Bio Cube for $260 and figure I can grow into the 75-90g later. Any thoughts?
