So I've been having a few issues with my reef namely cyanno and some SPS issues I couldn't quite explain.

Last week i removed one of my 4 frag racks to clean up with vinegar and couple of minutes ago I noticed one of the enclosed magnets on the eshops rack is busted open and rusted up. Who knows what kinds of metals were leached into my system! So a heads up for other reefers out there, CHECK YOUR EPOXIED MAGNETS OFTEN>

Most likely just arsenic and cyanide...nothing to fret over. ;)

My LFS was unimpressed with the Eshopps frag racks...mainly the magnets not holding. Now that there is a case of one breaking open...yikes. Time to run some carbon.

i have a serious dislike for the eshopps rack. I didnt think the magnets were strong enough. and when I took it out of the tank....had the same rust issue!!

IIRC, there are quite a few other reports of this happening. go with the blue glow...not a magrack. but great quality. I wish they would start making a magrack though!

I got the eshoppe racks for free, but I have a rack built back in 2007-8 by a 3reeferthat is awesome. I think it was 10 bucks shipped because he had access to scrap and an acrylic shot. Laser cut like a pro. It will be my only rack after tomorrow. All i have on racks these days are zoas and one psomacora

    QUIT BOSSING ME AROUND JERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa... sorry dude, I just ate some jelly beans and may have been in a Sugar Rage. Yeah yeah, but I want stuff growing under my radions so they wont have light shock when I move them over. Also with adding another 6ft tank I filled up the wall.

Andy, I think you are right. I mean heck its probably a bunch of copper too and that way I won't have to QT fish since my tank is "Naturally Medicated"

And you know what, I even have to post parameters and images if I have an issue.

At least post an image of the frag displays (it just sounds bad the other way).
