    Recently i bought a 4lb piece of live rock.24 hrs after getting it home and in tank i found myself blessed with a dozen featherdusters minimum 6 small brittle stars green and black. But im curious it looks like i have little pink deposits on it and wondering if its prossibley coral

    Congrats, I would assume that the pink deposits are coralline algae. A pic might help though.

    I know the owner of the store he gave me some great deals in top of it all ive been tryin to get a giod pic but didnt turn out

    Yes, a pic would help. It might be coralline algae, but it could be encrusting sponge. Won't know for sure until we can see it.

    So there also is a seashell that looked fossilized but is now moving. Can anyone tell me what it could be also i have pics of pink stuff growin on rock and now discovered neon orange piece on rock also. can anyone tell me how to download smartphone pics on this forum please and thank yoi

    My Fiji and Bali Premium Rock had some nice stuff that came with it. One piece of Fiji Rock had at least 20-30 multicolored feather dusters on it and a bunch of small brittle stars. Another piece of Bali has a crab living in it but it's very shy. The other night I found two small snails crawling on it, but the next day they were gone...wondering if the crab ate them?!

    I love finding the surprises that come along with live rock.

    I so far have had 6-8 brittle starfish, 1 emerald crab and 1 white crab that is also very shy & only can be seen at night.
