I just bought a good size Bubble Coral (about 2 inches) and it seems to be doing well, my water quality is where it should be, moderate wave action, AquaticLife T5 HO 30" 4 Lamp Fixture w/ Lunar Lights that I run 6 hours with lunar lights the rest of the time (because of heat transfer). My problem is that this thing wants to hide, when I move what it's attached to it gravitates back to the most hidden place it can find, I'm trying to be patient with it but it's about to get the glue gun (just kidding) but I would like it to be where I can see it since I paid good money for it, it's very pretty when it opens up but you got look in the nooks and cranny’s to see it, any suggestions?:-/

I'd like to see a picture of this coral if you don't mind.

As far as it moving? Sounds like an anenome- but I certainly don't know.

Think about what he may like about that secluded spot and then try to duplicate it in the best viewing area (i.g. flow, lighting, etc.)

It settled in a hole on the coral and I moved the rock so it was close to the bottom and had an overhang

bubble coral does not (can not) move.

If you have an anemone moving, well, that's what anemones do (and is why I wouldn't keep one in a coral tank personally). You can try things to coax it, but they are delicate and difficult enough to keep without harassing it. . .

IME, they'll move around a lot at first until they find somewhere. Right when you and the anemone have come to some agreement on where it is, it will move again ::)
