    I have liquid calcium. I can raise the calcium. I did not think it was that important since I primarily had FOWLR... I just put my first zoa in yesterday so I can raise my calcium.

    raising the calcium to above 380 so that it more naturally reflects natural sea water for all inhabitants is a good idea

    but dont try and get from 260 - 380 in 1 day as that may shock the inhabitants

    aim for no more than 40ppm increase in any 24 hour period as thats the generally accepted safe level
    so take 3 days to get from 260 - 380

    if you do decide to go with more corals eventually - a calcium level between 380 and 450 is ideal to maintain

    for a FOWLR and a Zoanthid colony - 380, the base level, would be fine IMO

    Thanks for all the advice... Have had saltwater quite awhile. Just starting to learn about corals.
