Hey everyone. Just started my tank with some help from a few friends. Got a deal on a RedSea 34g tank and lots of live rock. Hoping it'll turn out like some of the amazing tanks on here. Will update every now and then with more pics.

Currently it's in its 4th day of cycling.

Take your time. Trouble is the only thing that happens fast in this hobby.

Nice piece of the ocean you have. :)

the rockwork is quite nice, you did indeed do a good job on the rockwork. but i would say that the rockwork will probably need to be redone because it's going to be hard to place corals on the rock structure that you currently have.. at least in my opinion
i'm sure with your eye for aquascaping, you would be able to do another rockwork to place corals on easier.. it does look nice though, just an advice from me.. welcome to 3reef!

i like the aquascape you have but you could try to put it up against the back glass so it looks like you have depth in you tank. thats my fav way to do aquascape. like the tank so far. keep the pics coming

Hey everyone. Reading some of the posts and looking at a buddies tank who I did the scape for, I realized that I would not have room for any coral placing with the way had it arranged. It killed me to get rid of my top layer, specially since one of the rocks was a flat disc shaped with all sorts of beautiful colors, but I had to if I wanted some good placing for the corals (don't want them punching themselves).

Anyways, tank finished cycling some time back and since then I've been adding little by little. Started off with a shrimp and a pair of clowns. Nothing has spiked at all so I thought I would add a few more things. Picked up a goby and 2 corals (hammer and galaxea). Finally, I saw a really cute grouper which I couldn't pass on (yeah, I know he'll get too big and I'll have to xfer him!). Well enough talking, here are some pics. Sorry that some are a bit blurry, camera sucks so for now these will have to do! More updates soon!
