I'm looking for a higher wattage t5ho bulbs for my 72" aquaticlife 8 bulb fixture. It came with 36" 39 watt 10,000k but I would like to have a little more. However I cant seem to find 36" bulbs that are higher than 39 watts, is it because my lfs didnt have them? Or is 36" an odd size? If anyone knows of a good website I would appreciate some good advice.

    thanks :)

36" T5HO bulbs are 39W. You should not need more wattage with T5HO bulbs for your tank.

UVL brand bulbs are designed to withstand being overdriven. You will need to find a ballast that will overdrive your bulbs.

If you are using the Aquaticlife bulbs upgrading to ATI, Geisemann, UVL and Aqua Science bulbs will achieve more PAR which is what you are looking for.
