the tangs may have killed it, i don't advise more then one tang in a tank smaller then 100 gallons. but it may be hiding.

one thing i learned in this hobby is there third time isn't the charm. 2 dissapeared before the next one probably will also

my friend got up to the 8th time with yellow tangs and still failed(psycho killer hippo), but who knows the 9th might be it tell me how it goes if you make it that high lol

My Blue hippo can hide in the smallest of crevices. I put it in with a yellow and purple tang in a 92 gallon tank. One tuff fish I can tell you, because there was one time it hid in a crevice of a rock that I took out to rearrange and didn't notice - needless to say it was out of the water for at least 15 mins before I noticed the little yellow fin in the rock. It took about 30 mins for it to bounce back but has been fine every since. You might be lucky and it is hiding.

I've had some fish hide for a week or two before making their appearance.
