also my naso loved spectrum algae wafers they last 24 hours without changing water chemistry just put more than one wafer in what i did was put 2 or 3 my bi color angel would go to one naso to another and my bullet goby would speed around with it hanging out of his mouth like a trophy

If you are trying to feed seaweed, try adding a smaller piece in addition to the regular piece but add the smaller piece in a different location, maybe somewhere closer to the tang in question. Maybe add a few small pieces here and there (i know this can get tricky, but ingenuity is the backbone of keeping a reef) so that the tang has options and can find a piece of food that isn't already being picked at.

In the long run, as much as I hesitate to say this, the fish will eventually eat or it will starve to death. Does it eat anything at all? What do you mean when you say that it doesn't get fed because it is a runt? Does that mean it is intimidated by other fish or does it mean that other fish actually prevent him from eating? The answers to these questions would help us give a better solution.

Have you tried nori on a clip? What foods have you offered? Mysis?

I hate to say it, and no one else has, but that is a wrong tang for a 55g if that is the tank it is in. I think you are maxed as far as tangs go with a yellow in a 55.

As for feeding, This is what I do, its called Marine Fusion and I swear by it, its a cube of mostly mysis soaked in vitamins for that increase the health of fish, different kinds of seaweeds and some type of macral oil or something to that effect, anyways just take the cube swish it around and it will blow all around the tank feeding corals, filter feeders, and inverts. Also a frozen bar of cyclopeez works wonders too, just do the same and it works. As for the seaweed try caulerpa algae they love that stuff and its easy to grow just break off several pieces and he should get atleast one of them.
