I just got a black sun coral as I loved my orange on so much. I noticed there are 3 of the same coral that is a hitch hiker on it. They are a LPS I assume as they are hard. They are bluish purple very pretty color. I was wondering if anyone can tell me do I need to break it off and place it where it needs to be as the tips are turning white as it is in the shade and low flow does it need high flow etc etc. The pictures are not the best but maybe you can tell.

Can you get another pic? Maybe with flash from a bit farther away?

looks kind of like a blue montipora digitata.at any rate its an sps.sometimes they turn white when they die but sometimes the tips are a bit different in color than the rest.it needs medium/high light

should I just break it off and glue it to a rock as it is on my sun coral and they don't need hardly any light. Also what kind of flow? Thanks I think it is a digitata

What a great find!!!! That's got to be one of the top 10 hitchhikers I've seen.
