    Sounds like isopods to me, they are the larger ones in the pic, the smaller ones are copepods...

    Hey phil, thanks for your input.

    I'm still doubting isopods. in terms of size, they look equal to copepods.

    Wish my camera would focus on something 1/20th the size of a grain of rice. lol

    Nah. Not at all. That came out wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wrong. Dyslexic moment, not actually having it, lol. I meant that you because I wouldn't have caught it and I don't want to throw out incorrect info, lol.

    caprellid amphipod? They crawl by extending one part of their body and then pulling the rest up to catch up with them. fits the movement description...we have those in that tank...lets see what else....scuttlebugs...(what i call munnid isopods) amphipods, few different species of copepods.. chuck's addiction might help. google "chucks addiction" to get to it. Hope it helps!
