This little guy has been in my tank since adding my live rock. Survived a 20 degree ride down the interstate for an hour then sat outside for another hour then survived a freshwater dip! Pulled him out and got some pics, not very good but best I could do. He is dark on the shell & body. Any ideas??

It's really hard to say from that pic. It will most likely be a vetigastropod (read: probably reef safe), judging by the long "tail" and the long antennae, but you're probably going to have to get a more in-focus pic if you want the animal positively identified. If your camera has a macro setting, use that, and if your focal length still requires you to stand back so far that the animal is tiny in the middle of the pic, that will be OK. Just take the original photo and crop around the animal, and post that pic here. A small, in-focus pic will be easier to work with than larger, out-of-focus pics.

    Cheers,

    Don

Ya I need to get this camera figured out... I'll try to post better pics here soon, but the trick will be to catch him when he's out of the rock again, so if anyone can make a good assumption on the current pics, let me know!!!

I tried and you saw the results!!!!

I'm sure I'll get it figured out, it also takes forever(digital camera) to take the pic with the flash off for some reason, by the time it takes the pic I have moved all over the place! I need to sit down and have a nice reading seasion with my owner's manual!!
