    I was moving around some rock today and found two tentacles sticking out of a hole.they are about 1/2 inch long and have black and white rings around them.Do you think this is some kind of starfish?Sorry no pics.I cant afford a reef and a camera,lol also found an anemone that im working on ID'ing.My aquarium is 6 months old now with nothing new added rockwise so thats pretty cool.

    It does sound just like a Mini Brittle starfish. BUt when in doubt here's a link with just about every some what Common Hitchiker's you could find in your tank...

    Like i said it does sound like a Mini Brittle star fish so find OPHIUROID = mini Brittle star fish..
