It would make for an interesting experiment if you had any of that left.

I've always been with you Trent on UV Sterilizers... until almost a week ago when I figured my new tang was going to die from ick. Now it MAY be coincidental but every day I've ran the Coralife turbo twist there have been less and less spots on the black tang and the tomani.

I know how the life cycle of ick works but there have been no new spots yet either, and where this may be coincidence I am also seeing less bubble algae as well. I don't know, its bad science but if you have one you can try out it might be beneficial.

THAT BEING SAID: This bacteria it in the rock and sand, not free floating, and if its not on your coral I would let the rock sit out in the summer sun and get new base rock selling your stuff on craigslist!

The new tank is a standard 48x24x24 120g. I really wanted to pick up one of the deep dimensions 200 or 250 gallon but they were sold out. This tank was the closest to my dimension preference that they had. I will do a build thread in a few weeks.

It would be. I am not in any hurry to set the new one up yet as I am still gathering starboard, dry rock, etc. so I'll see if I can get a UV for that.

Beautiful dimensions on the new tank - congrats!
