    Hello all....new to 3Reef, and recently "new" in marine aquaria again. Had a tank about fifteen years ago, the relative dark ages! I've started a Biocube 29. It's been running now for four days, and all seems well. I have forty pounds of live sand and nearly thirty pounds of live rock. I also started the tank with saltwater from a relatively local FS. The only inhabitants as of yet are some hermit crabs and a few snails. Everyone seems to be working away in the tank, doing what they do. In fact, when I went home for lunch, I discovered that one of the hermits had swapped his shell for one of a handful that I'd tossed into the tank yesterday. I had some shells I'd collected in Tahiti, and I threw them in to be near the Fiji rock.....and apparently they're appreciated! I'm going to test the water again Sunday, and I'll wait another couple of weeks, but I'm planning to do fish and a few inverts, though the more I learn, the more I'm interested in having corals, too! Addictive just isn't descriptive enough!
