I was given one of these meters by an old hobbyist. He doesn't quite remember what calibration fluid he used. And me, having seen one of the for the first time, I don't quite know anything really about digital meters neither which calibration fluid I would need.
I'm thinking I need to get the 7.01 fluid?
    Would ANY brand work?
    Thanks;)

Any brand and any cal fluid would work. You just have to specify which PH solution is which....

I don't know that specific meter, but they are all the same... how ever it is you calibrate it, you put in which fluid you use. So if you used a fluid of 4 and 10 then that would be a wide range it would be called in. If your tank is usually 8 and you used a fluid of 7 and 9 then it would be a very narrow band but it would be more accurate in that small band.

It is specifically calls for a certain PH because you can't enter a different one, then that is what you will have to use.

Thanks, it's this one: HM Digital Waterproof PH Meter, PH-200 - English

So, I should get solution 7 and solution 9 or 10 and mix them together to calibrate monitor?

Tough to say. I would need the directions. It says one point of 4... but that factory cal was 4,7 and 10. So not sure if you use one for simplicity or you can use more. Really you just need to get the direction and see what it tells you to do. Any PH buffer solution, whatever the PH will do.

    Thanks for the info man,
I would try to get my hands on a soft copy of the directions and see if i could work from there.

I honestly don't think this meter is working, I used the milk, calibrated to 6.7 and then checked pH in my frag tank: 6.5, predator tank: 8.9 and another random tank: 9.8.
The re checked the same tanks and, frag tank: 9.2, Predator: 9.8 and randon: 10.00
It is an old meter so I'm thinking about getting the sensor replaced and see if that works!
