    We have been fighting an algea problem for about a month now. Tank is only 2 months old. We saw this thing in the tank early on when resetting some of the live rock but it was covered with algea until a few days ago. Note the tubes coming out of it. It is about the size of a silver dollar.

    Green Hair Algae? JK, it looks like a sponge to me too.

    yep green hair algea. started with a bad rodi filter so had silicates and phosphates in the water... now just trying to get rid of it.... slow progress.

    its a type of sea squirt i have pink ones
