    Hi Guys,

I just got this zoanthoid today. I forgot the name of it... It's also not come out since I bought it and placed it in the tank (2 hours ago).

Does anyone know the name of it and/or why it's not coming out?

    Thanks

    Tom:cry:

    They opened!

Hard to tell what kind it is when it's closed up. Did you acclimate it to your tank? Maybe it just needs time to adjust to your lighting and tank conditions. Most zoas are pretty hardy, so it will probably be fine.

if its only been in there for 2 hrs, then no worries. it can take awhile for it to get used to its new home and open up. it would be hard to name it with it closed. Give it some time. Zoas like pretty good light and med-high flow. Meet those needs, and he will open eventually.

GSP's take a lil longer than zoas. Zoas for me start opening within 15 minutes, if they were shipped, I'd imagine it'd take longer.

I'm not sure if they're really GSP's. They ended up opening up last night, PHEW! :clapping:

Anyways, they're not green, they're more of a yellow color.

Here are some pics with a few opened up-- sorry for the crappy quality, they're from my cell phone!
