    Looking for info/opinions on this skimmer. I'm looking for something for my 55g reef, no sps, just softies and a few lps. Any input would be great!

    I have one on my 40 and love it. Will easily handle a 55

    Well I've heard alot of good things about this skimmer so I ordered it this morning. I sure hope it works well!

    From what I heard, although the unit is great, the instructions on putting it together and getting it going suck. I may need some help from you guys!

    Instructions... instructions. That is one of the biggest downfalls to octopus skimmers. In general they are the best bang for the buck and work well, but there is no instruction sheet, just a parts diagram to help you put them together. But they are not hard to put together......
