I have a tank with Eurobrace that is 2 inches ( tank rims ). What HOB skimmer will hang / fit on my tank? I know the Deltec MCE600 ( 3 inch ) will work, but they are about $500, my budget is less.

    Bh100F won't fit the 2 inch Eurobrace.

Yep, I am looking at the T1000 SL HOB. How well does it work for you? Any over-skimate overflow out of the collection cup and onto your floor? Easy Maintenance?

No skimate overflow. If it overfilled it would go back into the skimmer.

I had the Turboflotor 1000 Multi going on my old 20 long.
Overall I thought it was a good skimmer. It was a fat tube full of dense air bubbles which is what you want.

I cover it pretty well in that review above.

What I didn't like was the Ocean Runner pump. It got cranky a lot and could get rather loud. Pretty much told me when it was time to clean it.

The new Aqua Medic Turboflotor skimmer - the T-3000:
T-3000 Blue Stand Alone - Protein Skimmer - Aqua Medic

The T-3000 skimmer appears to have addressed some other things I was concerned about - namely protecting the output tubes as I nearly broke mine several times removing or adjusting the skimmer. The plastic on the output tubes was rather thin.

THat said, it looks like they sacrificed some of the mounting range to do so which may remove it from being a candidate for your application.

But with some homework, I am sure one of the Aqua Medics would do the job. I don't know any other HOB skimmers on the same scale as the Aqua Medics. There may be some, but my research at the time did not find many options.
