I am upgrading my reef to a 150g and am looking for a good HOB skimmer, I'm currently running an Octopus BH 100f and I like it, it's just not enough for a 150g. I'm considering adding a second, similar skimmer or going with a tunze 9026. Any opinions?

you could run a 2nd skimmer of the same type
or you could look at the BH2000F - which is made for larger aquariums and should be OK on a moderately stocked 150 IMO

but as you are upgrading to a 150 is there an opportunity to include a sump in this new build?

with a sump, your options on skimmers is less limited, as there are plenty designed to handle aquariums that large and much larger

I know, I just really don't want to drill this tank. I had a sump before and besides being able to hide everything I didn't like it. I find the hob skimmer much simplier.
