    K. I have my tank started up for first time. All that stuff. I have my skimmer so that it skims. Just wonderin if I am suppose to have all those little bubbles coming out because the skimmer doesnt have the bacterial growth inside it, or because I have it set to high. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED.

If possible put some sponge between the return and your water and that will take care of the bubbles (always happens on most new skimmers if bubble elimination is not a forethought)...i let mine run full blast for about 2 days...the i slowly trun it down until i get bubbles that just creep over the edge of the outlet into the collection cup. all skimmers are different so some fiddleing and adjustments will most likley be necessary to get it tuned in and pulling that good stuff.

Thanks SeA. That is what I figured. I was going to put a sponge or something else to help divert bubbles, but the sponge idea is probably the best.
