I know a lot of the tunze nano skimmers get really good remarks around here. If its micro-bublloe you are concerned about, have you tried adding a filter sock to the outlet?

What you can try is to take a piece of filter media bag and fasten it over the return line with a rubber band. Should cut down on the bubbles

Honestly, I don't think you need a skimmer for a 10g. Just be really careful of overfeeding the fish (if you choose to have any) and do water changes regularly. I have had a 10g going for about 2 months now with no problems, and I just run a small HOB filter (an aquaclear 30). And I think it is great tank to start with. If you can manage keeping a 10g tank in good order and get into a routine, a 90g will be a piece of cake in comparison. It is soooooo much easier to maintain a larger tank, as you know and admit too. So save your money and put it into flow. For a 10g tank, a HOB filter as well as two Koralia-nanos will do just fine.
