Hey all! My love for reef tanks started with clownfish. It turned into as i'm sure many of you have experienced an obsession. AFter the reef tanks I thought about what I really wanted to do for this hobby and that was captive breeding and propagation of corals/fish/and inverts. I started with a pair of maroons and now have 13 pairs of clownfish I'm hoping will all start laying soon. I've started research on raising cleaner wrasse young and yellow watchman gobies. I have a spawning pair of each. I've also really gotten into breeding inverts lately with an emphasis on berghia. It started when I went looking for some berghia for my tank and found them priced at 25.00 plus a piece!!!! So i took on the challenge with 75.00 in berhia in a small cup. I killed them all actually at first, but not without an eggstrand which yielded me over 100 young.

My dreams are to one day have a coral greenhouse to offset collection from wild reefs. We may come to a day soon when captive will be the ONLY way we can get fish and corals. I hope to be ready with the research in place to breed many of the fish we never thought possible in captivity!

If anyone has any quesitons on raising live foods or breeding in general feel free to ask!
