Hello all my name is Andrew and I am from good ole Wisconsin. Currently don't have a tank but I used to have a 125g and sadly it was a bad learning exp do to the fact of being impatient so I just want to stress right away how important it is to be PATIENT!!!! I will be getting a tank soon hopefully! If I land this job I am working on I plan to start buying stuff once I save a little. I'm not set on a size tank yet but it will be a min. 120. This time I am going to look for a tank with built in overflows as well. I had a HOB overflow box and it works...just not very well. So that's where I am now. I will keep you posted if and when I start this new tank! Because I want to do it right this time and get good quality products which is why I plan on buying everything slowly so that I don't just cough up 2,500 bucks right away! lol

Ok so I have been thinking... I am not into all this "high tech" gadgets for reef keeping... so I have been thinking of doing a natural tank... by this I mean no skimmer or canister filters no reactors (idk what those even do to be honest) nothing besides sump for few heaters and a big fuge or maybe 2 fuges with different natural filtration in there. My questions are will this limit what corals I keep? I know I would need small bio load which I am ok with. I just want maybe 2-3 tangs and a few smaller fish (nemos) Let me know what you guys think.. I would rather do this because 1 electricity can go out and things can stop working and if your tank is dependent and that stuff well i dont want that...this is just an idea so let me know what you think
