Holes in the wall for Ecotech's

I had very little clearance behind my DT so I had to use two washing machine hook up wall boxes from home depot. Of course to two areas of the wall I had marked out for the proper location of the powerheads had studs right in the middle of the box. Once there were in the end product is a good solution for my build. Has anyone else had to do some weird modifications to there home for there aquarium?

 

Wow. I kind of love that. Well done. I would be curious to hear if it helps keep the whirring sound down or amplifies it.

As for your request of 'weird' modifications - not sure if this counts but I made a refugium out of a battery box:

Thanks. But I still don't think it quite fits what Saltysaber had in mind - I'd like to see some 'weird' modifications that people had to do when people were setting up their tank too!

I seen one where they cut a hole in the side of there house it was a different form I will look and Try to find it
