So my grandma and mom took me to the LFS well its about an hour away but it is as local as you get, anyways they gave me around $100 to get stuff for my ball python and whatever I had left over get something for my saltwater tank. Well I bought all my snake stuff and took in a coral that I bought that looked nice in the lfs but not in my tank and got $25 for that and got $10 free from preuss pets for reaching the $300 mark on my card, and had $25 left over from the $100 and I was looking around for something to put in my tank, maybe a coral or small fish and I looked and they had a female leopard wrasse for $50!! I asked the manager to come over and asked him if I could see her feed because I know that they often succumb to the home aquarium from lack of eating. He put a syringe of krill into the tank and she didnt seem to want anything to do with it but as my hopes went down, she started a frenzy on the krill! I said I will take it! And as my mom came over she saw the fish and looked at the royal gramma next to my fish and said we will take that one too. I got the both of them. After getting the fish home and acclimated I asked my girlfriend and mom and grandma to come into the room to see her before she would hide for the next week as they usually do. I put her into the tank with the royal gramma and she hid behind a rock for about 20 min and I thought well she will probably hide quite a bit more later but atleast we got a look. I came down about an hour later and she was out swimming around and picking at rocks for copepods! After turning off the lights later that night and then turning the lights back on in the morning I awaited the fish to surprise and show up but it didnt come out, so i thought to myself well now its hiding, not a surprise to me. After waiting about an hour and a half it was out swimming around again! I went to see if it would eat in my tank and I put in a Marine Fusion cube to see if it would eat and it did! I have been looking in fish stores and asked to see if they would order it for about 2 years now and never could find one but this day I found a fish that loves to be out in the open, eats quite well, and is so beautiful.
