    IF you can afford it do it! If you cant dont....They are pretty, but just way out of my spending area....Print it out and glue the picture to the back of your tank and pretend....

    I like chalices, I have a greenish/blue one with many small eyes and a watermelon I got locally for really cheap. But the problem I have found with them is that to maintain the color you see, you need very low light (generally, some require a little higher lighting). I have found it difficult to have them in a tank with my sps and higher lighting demanding corals. I have been forced to put my one chalice, which grows very quickly and which I'm about to frag again, under a ledge and my watermelon at the bottom. My watermelon grows very slowly. But as with many of you guys, I could not justify spending $400 on a frag, you really can get many more other really nice, rare frags for that price.
