Holy crap Craigslist!

They arrested a guy in Dallas for putting his neighbors basketball hoop on craigslist. The add said "free just come pick it up I won't be home". So people came and started to pick it up and the people noticed. Turns out the guy was a cop and got arrested.. Prolly lost his job too.

 

thats funny and sad.. hey we got a free dodge challenger in the driveway. no ones home, and I lost the keys.. just break the window free.

 

I got 3 tanks from Craig's List my 38 gallon w/ stand, heater & Aquaclear filter was free the 46 bow front was very reasonable...I just bring someone with me and let a friend or family member know where I'm going...just in case. I also got a 10gallon w/ HOB filter for a good price. I love CL just gotta be careful and not let your hopes get too high.

 

Well, I still haven't heard back yet, but I'm keeping my hopes up anyway.

 

It might be legit. I am thinking of listing my freshwater tank for free to a good home. I'm moving soon, and the reef takes up so much of my time as is. Plus, the freshwater tank just seems kinda boring now compared to my reef.

Listing something for free is great if you have to get rid of it in a hurry! Plus, you can make the other person move it and do the heavy lifting.

 

Well I still haven't heard back, so I guess I wasn't quick/lucky enough to get it.

 

probly an angry wife/girlfriend putting there soon to be ex's tank on craigslist while their at work.. lol those tank haters!


plus the tank looks well maintained.. if it looked like it was neglected and a eye sore than maybe legit..

 

HMMMM ya know I remember something real close to this ad a few months back here as well..
