    Eventually they might be. There is alot of cost that goes into the facilities and the technology of rearing new fish. Many fish larvae only eat certain types of food, so there is alot of time that goes into figuring that out, and loss of the brood stock, heck the investment in enough broodstock to ensure good genetic diversity.

    Add to that the fact these angel may be far less likely to eat corals since its never been part of their diet and people are willing to pay a premium.

    from the info iv been reading seems it was a championship winner bought by a rich individual (you would think if he was willing to cashed out 2.2 million right?)

    on a different note it would seem Freddie Mercurys kois (worth 1 million pounds) were (")accidentally(") poisoned by the gardner.....
