    WTF?!?!
My Marineland Eclipse 12gal saltwater tank BROKE!!!!!
    LITERALLY BROKE!
I've had this tank set up now for a little over 8 months now and had a very nice set up going on.

    Ah, the beginning...
My tank was cycled first with 3 tiny hermit crabs
(not to mention the stow aways hiding in my live rock, glass anemone, peacock freatherdusters, bristle worms, amphipods:2thumbsup)
I eventually added 3 peppermint shrimp to the tank to rid my pride and joy of those nasty glass anemone.
    {Shrimp=>:uzi: :sick:<=Anemone}
After the risk of my fishies dying from the anemone, i slowly added 4 pretty little damsels.

    My Horrible Discovery...
I walked into my dining room to gaze upon my wonderous (yet tiny) undersea playground....then i saw it....not a knick...not a scratch...

You know that grotesque thing that happens to a window when a rock hits it....:shout:

    Yeah...that delicate crackle pattern....

    Conclusion...
I dont know how it happened.....
I dont know what to do....
    All i know is
    I feel SICK!:sick3:

+1 to what Otty said, get it all in something solid that you can trust, just rinse it with RO water first

Good time to look at an upgrade to a bigger tank or real nano

reverse osmosis, its a method of taking normal water and filtering it into pure water free of impurities/additives...with a small tank you probably dont have one setup nor do I, I make topoff/cleaning water by adding Prime to tap water and also adding PH buffer to it, or the LFS can sell you some Im sure...you can use a big bucket or storage container to put your water/creatures/LR in, just make sure to turn it over with a power head and also keep light on them how ever long its on now during the day...I'd ugrade to a larger nano like a 24 or 28 gallon cube...

When it happens to you....does not matter what size it is...still sucks! Sorry to hear about your loss. Were you able to take your livestock into the fish store until you get everything figured out?

I ran and got another tank, same tank, only diff is its less expensive and the filter is for fresh water. I put on my old hood put in my old filter.
I figured i was due for a water change anyway, so i started to mix the old water with new water i had pre-made. i then began to slowly mix the new(er) water with the old tank water to acclimate the fishies.
Now im trying to slowly transfer my LR and some of the crushed coral along with new live caribbean aragonite....
now i suppose its a matter of getting the fishies ready.
