probably newly hatched brine shrimp. although they will probably get eaten by tank mates or sucked into pumps and overflows.

edit: the brine shrimp are the food for the babies

Congrats as this is the sign of a very healthy tank!!! I had some peps that were spawing regularly earlier this year - it's amazing to watch - none of them survived sadly. But while they are swimming around its sooooo cool to watch!!!

it is way crazy to watch ! we also noticed that our cleaner shrimp that has spent the last 3-4 days hiding is well expecting and her tail section is so big it looks odd ! i will try to get pics when i get home !

    Congrats!

I bought a peppermint shrimp three weeks ago that when introduced just went into a cave and remained there for 3 days. After the fourth morning I found it dead and CUC consuming it's remains. A few days later I noticed very small fry at night and their eyes glow when shined on by my flashlight. They were tiny. Since then they've grown considerably, and find various places to hide, but I only ever see them at night with a flashlight. The largest 2 are about 1/2 " and are clearly shrimp. Not sure what they're eating to remain alive, but I feed Rod's food every other day. I Also only have 2 Ocellaris clowns for fish. They're asleep at night so they don't have much for predators. I hope they all survive!
