ive never done it zach , but i had a buddy who did. he did it for 6months , then gave it up. solely becauase of the weight he put on. lol. even refrigerated , it didnt\doesnt have the shelf life of other beers. so be prepared to add a notch to your belt , lol. but again, you could become even more popular with your buddies. but i do know, the beer tastes good and you can basically whatever you fav flavor or type is. good luck

Thanks for the info! I've researched a bit and it seems like the variety and possibilities are endless. I'm going to get some equipment ordered up.. and storage isn't going to be an issue ;D

Zach I do not home brew anything myself but a few of my family members have tried it before. I am not sure what they did wrong the first time, but even I could not stomach their brews. After a bit of research online one of them stumbled onto this site which helped them with just about everything, if your serious I would recommend you check it out. With the help of the people on there, the beer they made came out delicious and refreshing, with no projectile vomiting(not me)

Good luck, what kind of beer are you going for?

My little sis hid a half full gallon bottle of cranberry/grape juice under her bed for about a year. Voila, Wine, lol.

lol - I don't keep much food in mine. I cook some at home, typically weekends, and eat out the rest of the time. My fridge is pretty much empty. Plenty of room for storage ;D

Yeah - that's what you think now! Wait until you're brewing up gallon after gallon ;)

Hopefully this experiment won't make you so sick of beer you never want to drink it again!
