    Just went by the local home depot and saw they are carrying T5 ho ballasts now for $34. I will buy a few for stock at that price.

    What watt bulbs will they drive or did you look? Lowes also carries the digital timer strip that has night and day function for 24 bucks. They are 39 at smart mart lol.

    That's good to know. They're really lacking in the T5 department.

    these were for 54w bulbs and can be wired for one or two bulbs, perfect for me.

    I'm a contractor and am always converting the old t12 lights to the new t8's. I just happened to explore a bit today and saw these really long and skinny ballasts, i knew right away they were the t5 ho ones, as I had priced them out before at a local electrical supply store. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

    Interesting I had noticed the fixtures in my stores here and wondered if they would work for reef lighting. I would love to know more info about this digital timer strip. I havent seen anything like that. Please share more info on this.
