    Just saw what appears to be one of my small blue legged crab out of the shell just layin in the sand. I don't know where his original shell went. I'm guessing it got too small. Do I now need to go get some mixed empty ones for him to go house hunting?

    It could just be a molt. But you should have some extra shells on hand as they do like to change them and it keeps them (hopefully) from taking a snail.

    So, the crabs and snails could actually have a "throw down/smack down" over shells and turf?;D

    It would be more like a whooping that the crab lays on the snail lol.
