    I want to make a fuge for the bedroom tank. Can I make it out of clear plastic or does it have to be glass/acrylic?

    I seen people make sumps out of RubberMaid baskets from target...Hope that solves your question.

    Yep, you should be able to use any food grade container including rubbermaid totes.
