I made some fish food today. I used about a pound of talapia, shrimp, brine shrimp cubes and seaweed. The fish went crazy when i dropped it in and were eating the little pieces that broke off. However the fish can't seem to figure out where it is coming from. They are literally bumping into each other trying to find it.

I make my own food too. It's the best way IMO. I get all of the meaty stuff from the seafood counter, the seaweed from the Asian market.

I'm feeding 2 damsels, a coral beauty, yellow tang, cardinal and a clown. I just chop the slab of food into cubes and drop one in everyday.

Saints fan, where do you get the roe? I've never seen it at the grocery store.

anytime me and my girlfriend go to eat sushi i have them just fill me up a cup full and i tip them 5$..if you have never fed your fish fish roe, def try it, the look like pirahnas getting them..

also i read somewhere that people were finding it at some of the asian market stores..but any sushi restaurant gives it to me no questions, some of them have reef tanks in the restaurants and they will drop a spoonfull in and the whole tank goes nuts, corals, fish, inverts..its pretty cool to watch

yeah im not sure on the nutritional aspects of it but im sure its high in omega 3 and fatty acids, but my whole tank love its..my shrimp jumps off rocks across the water to try and snag whatever it can..my crab runs along the bottom of the tank along the front trying to catch stuff and the fish go 90 to nothing feeding on it..its like cyclopeeze(cat nip for fish)
