Honeymoon next year, want to scuba dive reef, any ideas??

anything in the pacific is going to be expensive compared to the carribean IME. The Pacific is prettier IMO though.

I've done a couple all inclusives... honestly, not impressed. BUT easy. If you're not the type to go exploring and you mostly want to hang out at the beach all day with a good buzz - then all inclusives are pretty good.

having said that... i'll throw this out there... planning separate his and her activities for a honeymoon is missing the point. That's what "normal" vacations are for... or a mancation with your buddies...

That's sweet of her to go along with all this... but I'd bet she's only appeasing and not particularly thrilled on this... not how i'd start the whole marriage thing

Well, my fiancee and i are taking a cruise ad diving Bonaire, St Lucia, St Tomas, Aruba amoung others. I have dove most before and if you want to maximize your money look into Cozumel. There are i think a few all inclusive places on the island as well as some Mayan ruins. I dove Belize and its pretty cool, your best stop there is Ambrigas Kaye but its a little more expensive. I dove in the south of Belize but you need a decent boat ride to get out to the reef. Grand Cayman i really enjoyed but its pricey too.

I agree with Igntar, look into Cozumel. One of the world's best dive spots. It's usually a deep wall dive while drifting. Palace Resorts has an all-inclusive on Cozumel. You could also go to Cancun and then travel to Cozumel for diving, or dive around Cancun...but it's just so so IMO.

But like others have said South Pacific is premo for diving....and honeymoon locations, but you pay for it for sure.

Lol, thats what the spa is for my friend. shes totally cool with me going and doing my diving thing as long as she gets a massage and all that fancy jazz haha im only planning on going diving once the whole time where there. shes a pretty cool chick;D

 

cancun wasnt so bad for diving. I had a good time. You can also cave dive around cancun which was awesome!!!!!

 

no can do lol she can barely put her feet in the ocean. shes deathly afraid. i can get her to go on a boat but thats about it lol shes the kinda girl that cant kill a tiny spider cuz she thinks its gunna eat her

 

I gotta say +1 to this.... It's a Honeymoon, your only allowed outta the cell, oops I mean room an hour a day
