Horseshoe crab??

    my lfs is now trying to sell small horseshoe crabs for marine tanks. i'm pretty sure this wouldn't make a good animal for a standard marine setup - aren't they atlantic creatures, and don't they grow to be the size of a vw?:ears:

    LOL, No VW, but they do get about 12 to 16" long in the wild. I am no expert but I know that they are harder to keep that most crabs, seems to me I read that they need special food and need to be target feed. I also remember seeing somewhere that they don't last long in a reef tank.

    They don't - mine lasted 2 weeks. Seemed more intrested in burying himself in the sand then looking for food!
