I had a baby one - and it was one of the most stupid things i ever put in my tank. it spent most of its short lived life under on its back trying to get the right way up.

Hi I just bought a horseshoe crab. I love him and was also wondering what advice you could give me. mine is very playful and even swims, I didn't know they could swim. He hasn't gone under the sand yet.

When under the sand, they like to bulldoze. Make sure your rocks are anchored in some way, resting on the glass instead of the sand is a smart move, as well has having them attached to each other so nothing collapses. And don't put coral frags/plugs on the sand bed. My LFS employee learned that the hard way after getting a pistol shrimp :D
