This job from the LFS that I got is not going to be good on my pocket book or my heart!

I have been given the job to bring home corals that are not doing well and try to bring them back to life! I have brought home 4 corals last week (1 large plate coral, 2 large acros, and 1 pink birdsnest) They all have been dipped and all RTN clipped off and placed in a seperate tank (NO WAY WAS IT GOING TO MY DISPLAY..i think that is where they thought) Any corals I bring back will be returned to the store minus a large frag ;D

Well last week there was a baby bearded dragon in the store and it was not looking well. (I have technically been given the title of Freshwater/Reptile Manager) even though I know very little of this other then the research I have done. ::) Well I have worked everyday sicne Thursday and have been nursing this little baby back from death. Still very very weak and lethargic but now I am off from there until Thursday and not able to go up there and check on him because of the other job. Plus I am now attached. SOOOO they told me to bring him home and try to nurse him back to health. They had a used reptile tank, heat lamps etc. I cant believe I actually am attached to a lizard! But I am. And if he recovers I get to keep him Hopefully he will pull through. I have the heat cranked up in that room, left all heat lamps on him, have all my fish tank lights on all night in the room and the door closed....

He is in my hospice room though. My golden puffer has not ate in over 3 weeks now after being found almost dead one the sand when my cat turned the power off. So nursing the lizard and golden back to life if not comfort only. Thanks

you lead a very interesting life , hope you dont mind me saying
sounds awesome to me, I can totally relate to getting attached to a reptile, they are fascinating creatures - bearded dragons are cool
hope it gets better for you then and eventually will happily pose for a photo for us all?

Beardies are wonderfull pets they have great personalities. They can reconize their owners from others and you can become quite attached. The thoughts of your baby just brought back my tears; I lost my female (Baby) last week to old age. I miss her as much as any pet maybe more. It sounds like you are doing your best for your baby, good luck, and remember babies like to eat ALOT!

I love bearded dragons! My friend's family has 2, one at home who's just about a year old now (and he's hyper...) and the other one is a fully grown fatty mac fat face that lives in a classroom (his mom's a 3rd grade teacher). I hope yours pulls through! :(

And that sucks about your puffer! You're having a rough couple of months with your pets :( Get well soon, to everyone. :)

Went over today and got her to eat. Had a krill on a stick that I teased him with until she was interested. Then I threw in 2 fiddler crabs and she went right for them. She's maintaining her teeth on the live rock again too.
