It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It works for some clowns.

Any anemone is capable of eating a fish even clowns.

I have had no trouble with carpets hosting clowns as long as the clowns were not forced into the anemone. It is their natural host but other tank inhabitants need to be considered. Gobies, Blennies and Mandarins reside in the same zone as the carpet anemone and can easily fall prey.

Hmmm, I'd say false---I've known people who have had their anemones for many, many years when properly cared for.

I'm not saying you can't try a frogspawn, but why? It's not a natural host for clownfish. Also, clownfish take very good care of their home (anemone). They like to bring it food. I knew of one maroon that loved her nem so much she dragged a yellow tang 3 x her size over to the nem for a snack. It was horrible as the tang had NO chance of getting away.

The clown will eventually kill a Euphiliya IME.There is no better host for a clown then an anemone.Corals are a poor substitute.:(

Yep, I was typing as you posted this. My story of the tang is true--it was horrible. Carpets are sticky, if they grab on they don't let go.

BIG PLUS 1 for Vinny...and as the rest of you seem to concur..agreed..I removed my clowns when they became involved with my FS..No bueno..non symbiotic....don't get me wrong..they do it and love it...to the detriment of the Euphiliya for certain.

It's strange I guess because I believe it will probably kill the euphillia, but I have seen clowns live in them and all it seemed to did was irritate the coral. But maybe that was not a long term situation either because I still think it's a very bad idea. FWIW, that store is full of bs.
